Wonderful Water Dragon Anthurium Garden Plant

Anthurium ‘Water Dragon’ (Anthurium hybrid). Developed from the breeding program of Silver Krome Gardens, ‘Water Dragon’ is a hybrid of Anthurium watermaliense and Anthurium ‘Red Birds Nest’. The large, upright leaves are green with distinctive red veins but if grown in more than 50% shade, the leaves turn maroon. The flower is black. Grow in warm temperatures (60-85°F), high humidity, partial sunlight and provide steady moisture. ‘Water Dragon’ prefers to be watered directly in the root zone. It doesn’t like to have water on its foliage. Anthurium are very easy to grow in the house. Keep them evenly moist, but not wet or dry. Fertilizer regularly with a general purpose, soluble house plant food. Anthurium do best in a north or east window or under bright, indirect light.
