Wonderful Sevillana Shrub Rose Garden Plant

This breakthrough series blooms from spring until frost, with tasty rose hips to follow! The large 3-inch blooms from the Sevillana® shrub rose are fully double and are borne in colorful, dense clusters. This shrub offers stunning red color from spring all the way to winter. The dense clusters of vivid red bloom continuously arise from the brilliant green foliage all the way until the first frost. Once the plant has finally stopped blooming, an abundance of scarlet fruit grows from fall deep into winter. The Sevillana® shrub rose stands between three and four feet tall and is two to three feet wide. A pruning in the early spring of the top of the plant is the only pruning required. The plants should be spaced two feet apart for optimum health. The Sevillana® shrub rose comes from the Meidiland family of shrub roses. Roses from this family can be enjoyed all year long as landscape shrubs. They require little attention or maintenance and, unlike most roses, are not prone to disease or wilt.
