Astartea fascicularis: is a member of the Myrtaceae family, a native of Western Australia and develops into a low, spreading, densely foliaged shrub that will reach a height of one metre with a two metre spread.
Short leaves are narrow, aromatic, fleshy and sometimes arranged in bundles along the stems. Flowers are one centimetre across, five-petalled, profuse and usually white. The main flowering period extends from June to March with sporadic flowering at other times.
