Most commonly known as Black Wattle or Green Wattle. Endemic to South-eastern Australia it is an erect tree featuring smooth bark and bi-pinnate leaves.
The flowers present in spherical heads of pale yellow or cream which seed as reddish brown pods. The gum is used as a food and to make cement.
